60 Series SOM is Now FIPS 140-2 Level 1 Validated
Laird Connectivity has achieved a FIPS 140-2 Level 1 validation for license on the 60 Series SOM. This allows customers to enable Wi-Fi communications, provide end-to-end data-in-transit, and data-at-rest for government agencies and private enterprises requiring FIPS validated cryptography. Customers’ products are considered FIPS Validated with the integration of the 60 SOM with no further testing or certification required. Laird Connectivity is committed to maintaining a licensed FIPS validation through the entire lifecycle of products integrating the 60 Series SOM.
